EI Inquiry

hi everyone,
i'm urging all horse people who read this site to have a read all of the enquiry info, it's great on what has been going on. from what i can tell it all falls back to the quaratine!!!!! no overalls, my mum says that is a basic thing, when dealing with infectious things over in the uk. you see picture's in (eg hd last month) with the vet using overalls but not on the person holding the horse why is this. quaratine should be the one setting the examples for all of us. i also read that they had confirmed the flu 5/6 days before the rest of us got told about it. you would think they would have to shower etc before and after they have been to work??? they should have listened to the doctor in 2003, and done something about it, before we get something even worse.
if they had told us that there, was a suspect case, and locked us down things may have not gotten so bad.
i would like to hear more about the pony that died.
how do they clean the air port gear? is it all steam cleaned after each horse has been through???? so to kill any germs that may be there.
i hope we get an answer about all this mess.

here's praying we get some rain, and get moving soon.
louise
