A national body to represent all...
Hi
As an affected horse industry person I am reading this excellent blog every day as part of my efforts in keeping informed on all things EI.
Before my income dried up when our horses developed EI - the last cheque I wrote was my membership to the Australian Horse IndustryCouncil (http://www.horsecouncil.org.au/) or AHIC.
This body works tirelessly for the benefit of the whole industry and is
run on a voluntary basis.
It has functioned for many years and is recognised as the peak horse industry body by governments & their departments.
Instead of forming new assocaitons/alliances we need to get behind theAHIC so it can capitalise on all its hard work and ram home the important issues facing our industry.
Some help/advice I have been looking for is - how to bring EI affected
horses back into work as soon as possible after their rest without
jeopardising their health. Would appreciate any suggestions/experiences.
