Vaccinating Standardbreds the last straw

Can you believe some people have the temerity to believe their "breed" of horse has more rights than those in the so called recreational field. Sounds like those handouts are becoming attractive. Recreational "horses" have as much right to the vaccine. The vaccine will not get your standardbreds back on track any quicker than our "recreational" horses back to their breeders. Just because we don't claim our horses as a TAX DEDUCTION doesn't put us on a lower rung of the ladder. I hope you are enjoying the handouts from Centrelink to pay your mortgages, feed your kids. As long as you continue to look to someone else for support you'll be fine. Unlike us "recreational" owners who breed for a living without relying on the Govt for support we have nothing .
