Equality - What about our pets?

What about those of us that have horses as pets that have been life long friends? Ignoring the whole farcical nature of the effectiveness of vaccinations in the buffer zone for the privileged few for the moment, what about those of us that have horses that mean more to us than money can buy? Some of us have had companions for over 30 years, and yet other people, right next door, qualify for free vaccines for horses that will be discarded the minute that they don't run fast enough? Some of us would pay any amount of money to protect our treasured family members, yet the vaccine is not available to us, and furthermore, if we were able to get hold of any vaccine ourselves, it is currently illegal to do so! So we just play the waiting game, and watch and wait while the virus creeps closer to our faithful companions, while next door life goes on as usual with people profiteering from their newly vaccinated "money making machines".
